A Stitch in Time (tag#2)

This is the second tag I made for the swap. The photo didn't turn out the way I wanted it to even after several tries...oh well...I still have a lot to learn about posting images.

I used a ton of elements to create this tag. I began by aging the tag with distress ink then added the stamped and colored images of the woman sewing. I used the dress forms from the RL"Dress Form"stamp and glued one to the tag and later I glued the other one to the chipboard dress. Then I added the words and thimble.

Next I covered the cute chipboard dress with scraps of paper, inked the edges, glued on the other dress form, added rick rack on the bottom, sewed a button to a piece of tape measure ribbon and adhered it to the dress form and then I went crazy adding buttons and snaps! I found the cute little hanger in my stash of metal embellishments and used a super glue to attach it to the top of the dress. Ahhh....can you see another scissor brad? They are so cute! After pinning a tiny safety pin onto the ribbon I glued the dress onto the tag.
