A Stitch in Time (tag #1)

Hi every ONE...that would be you Allie since you are my first and only follower!! LOL Thanks for being a sweet and loyal daughter!

These tags were made for the Red Lead "A Stitch in Time" swap. We were challenged to create projects with these awesome vintage alterations tags and rubber stamps from the new Red Lead sewing theme collection. I even added a little sewing on the tags to give some texture to the collage.

This first tag has been overstamped with a new RL stamp called "Dress Form". I LOVE this stamp! Then I layered several other elements on the tag, added a few buttons on a garment pin (not in photo), inked everything up and I really like the result. Can you see the tiny silver scissors at the bottom of the tag? It's a brad! So cute!
